Fire officials have declared a wildfire that threatened the popular tourist town of Ely to be 100 percent contained. The Associated Press reports that the burn area is estimated at 175 acres. The containment effort got help from about 1.5 inches of rain that fell this weekend.

The Dragons are 6-11 this year. They have a 4-3 record at Pine City. Today’s game is the second to last home game of the regular season for the Dragons.

Roger Crawford. Pine City Planner Nathan Johnson says he did receive the highest vote tally in the final ballot rounds of the convention garnering 53% of the delegates.
