Large Drug Bust Reported In Ogilvie

A large methamphetamine bust took place in Ogilvie on Wednesday, Sept. 11. The Kanabec County Sheriff’s Office was joined by officers from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehenson and the Lakes Area Druck Investigative Division with the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Ogilvie. Several pounds of meth were seized, worth an estimated $130,000.

In a press release from the Kanabec County Sheriff’s office we learned that the primary suspect was already in custody on a separate matter. the BCA’s investigation is active and ongoing.
