Thursday, August 1st, 2013 at 6:05 am

On Wednesday, Pine County Sheriff Robin Cole reported that the level three predatory offender who vanished from his home in Sandstone was found, and will be transported back to Pine County by the Minnesota Department of Corrections.

Cole said 52-year old Rommel Heinrich Fritz was arrested on Tuesday night in Nicollet county after a warrant was issued last week for his arrest. Fritz was on Intensive Supervised Release for first-degree criminal sexual conduct involving an underage girl, and was released June 11, 2012 from prison in Rush City.

Fritz had been on fugitive status since Sunday, July 21, for allegedly violating the terms of his supervised release. Fritz reportedly left Sandstone on his bicycle last week. Nicollet County is part of the Mankato–North Mankato Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Why is there no follow up story about this creep? He was put back in prison, was he not?
