Authorities are searching for a level-three predatory offender who was living in Sandstone, but has gone missing.

Now, 52-year old Rommel Heinrich Fritz has a warrant out for his arrest. Fritz is on Intensive Supervised Release for first-degree criminal sexual conduct involving an underage girl, and was released June 11, 2012 from prison in Rush City.

Fritz has been on fugitive status since Sunday, July 21, for allegedly violating the terms of his supervised release. Fritz is white, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 193 pounds and has brown hair and eyes. He’s known for riding a blue Schwinn mountain bicycle and the Associated Press reports he may be pulling a bicycle trailer filled with his belongings.

Citizens should not attempt to confront Fritz. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the DOC’s 24-hour tipline at 651-603-0026.

I am outraged it took Pine County 4 days to report this to the public! They are too busy with their media attention with their pot plants then to notify the public that a Level 3 Sex Offender who likes little girls has disappeared?! If a child gets hurt or worse, hope this is on the Sheriff Department’s conscious, not that I would ever wish anything bad on a child. Someone needs to get their priorities straight around this county – media attention or protecting children from a sick monster?!
