Vikes Stadium Bill Passes Senate

The Minnesota Senate voted in favor of the new Vikings stadium by a 38-28 count just before midnight. The vote came after debating for 11 hours on Tuesday. A similar measure passed the Minesota House on Monday.

Fans of the Minnesota Vikings got a big boost last night as the Minnesota House approved the stadium measure 73-58. The vote came just before midnight and now the bill moves on to the Senate for another round of vigorous debate today.

This afternoon we’ve got a high school baseball game for your listening pleasure on 1350AM WCMP. Josh Miggler will be on the call for the Pine City Dragons trip to Mora against the Mustangs. Mora has been hot so far this season and boasts a stellar 8-3 record with a three-game winning streak. Pine City is needing a win to stop a lengthy losing streak and will have their work cut out for them against a solid Mustangs unit.
