Lynx Win WNBA¬†Championship!

Minnesota finally has a champion after the Minnesota Lynx finished off a 3 game sweep of the Atlanta Dream for the WNBA Championship.

The Lynx beat the Dream 73-67 in Atlanta last night to win it’s first championship in franchise history.

Seimone Augustus had 16 points and Maya Moore had 15. Minnesota had two more players in double figures as Rebekkah Brunson had 13 points and nine rebounds and Candice Wiggins had 10 points.

Minnesota closed the postseason with six straight wins, including sweeps of Phoenix in the Western Conference finals and Atlanta in the championship series.
