The Lone Wolf in the All-Star Game
Power forward Kevin Love will be representing the Minnesota Timberwolves in tonight’s NBA All-Star game. Love is just the fifth player in wolves history to be named to an all star team, and the teams first since Kevin Garnett four years ago. Love was selected as an injury replacement for injured Houston Rocket Center Yao Ming.
Love is the leagues’ leading rebounder, but he has also improved his shooting this season, becoming an all-around player. Love has set an NBA record of 51 double-doubles before the all star break, and currently has a consecutive double-double streak of 42.
