The Minnesota Twins have come to terms with pitcher Francisco Liriano on a 1-year $4.5million contract. The twenty-seven year old left handed pitcher went 14-10 with a 3.62 ERA in 31 starts for the A.L. Central Champs. He allowed 184 hits, 58 walks and 201 strikeouts in 191.2 innings pitched.

Liriano was the American League Pitcher of the Month last April and the American League Comeback Player of the Year. He set a career-high by winning eight consecutive decisions from July 16 to Sept. 4, 2010. Pitchers and catchers report to Fort Myers, Fla., for their first workout of spring training on Feb. 18.
