Bert Blyleven Makes The Hall Of Fame

The ballots have been counted and Bert Blyleven made the Hall Of Fame with 79% of the votes. Blyleven has been a nominee for the Hall Of Fame for a number of times but he finally made the cut as of 2pm this afternoon. Blyleven finished his baseball career with 3,701 strikeouts with 60 shut outs, a pair of World Series rings and 287 overall wins, not to mention known for his famous curve ball. He then segued into successful career as a Minnesota Twins baseball announcer and coined the popular “Circle Me Bert” with MN Twins Fans. Congratulations to Bert Blyleven!
