One Down, Two To Go: Bombers Advance

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010 at 7:03 pm

Braham battled back from a second half deficit Wednesday to advance to the state semi-finals, beating Watertown Mayer 61-52 at Williams Arena.

Becca Dahlman led all scorers with 30-points and Kelsey Sorenson-Giffrow continued her productive postseason with 16 points, include three triples.

The Bombers jumped out to a 10 point lead in the first half, but cold shooting and turnovers allowed the Royals to climb within one at halftime.

Watertown Mayer took a three point lead midway through the second frame, but the Bombers went on a 12-2, most of which came with Dahlman on the bench with four fouls.

Braham will play Friday at the Target Center at 8 p.m against the winner of Pipestone Area and Sauk Centre.  Hear the game on WCMP-FM.
