The Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets girls need overtime to keep their season alive. They sneak past Blaine 60-57 and will play in the section final against St. Francis in North Branch on Friday. Bluejackets head coach and section Coach of the Year Jody Ledahl spoke with WCMP’s Dan Hinrich’s after his teams thrilling win.

The Grantsburg Pirates’ season comes to an end in 46-26 loss to St. Croix Falls.  The Pirates end the year 5-17.  WXCX’s Bob Rombach caught up with Pirated head coach Penny Curtin.

The Siren Dragons pick up a first round win, they will play the three seed Drummond on Thursday.  The Dragons enter the second round match-up 19-4 and have won 14 of their last 15 games.
