The Cambridge-Isanti/Mora/Pine City hockey team took nearly twice as many shots as the St. Francis/North Branch Saints in Tuesday’s 4-3 win.

The Bluejackets never led until the games final seconds.  Megan Erickson scored the game winner as the clock expired to give Cambridge-Isanti/Mora/Pine City their second win on the year.

Bluejackets coach Jeff McCann said he was not pleased with the way the team played in the second period, but was proud of how they responded in the final period.  “After a little soul searching in between periods, the girls came out and played with a little fire in their belly and fired 18 more shots on goal scoring 3 times,” he said.

Cambridge-Isanti/Mora/Pine City (2-2) is off until December 3rd when they travel to Coon Rapids.
