For the first time since becoming East Central High School, the Eagles are headed to the State Tournament in football. East Central earns the trip with a 14-8 thrilling win over Ogilvie Thursday at the Public School Stadium in Duluth. The Eagles will play on November 14th at noon, also in Duluth. The Rush City Tigers season comes to an end with a 42-24 loss to Moose Lake-Willow River. The Tigers made an impressive comeback, scoring 24 in the fourth quarter, but could not overcome a 35-0 deficit after the third quarter. Rush City ends the year 7-4. The Rebels move on to play Thursday in Farg0, North Dakota.
