XC and Volleyball Highlight H.S. Sports Schedule

Pine City will welcome 11 schools to the Pine City Invitational Cross Country meet, Thursday, at the Pine City Country Club.  Competing will be Mora, Hinckley-Finalyson, Rush City, Braham, East Central, Moose-Lake, North Branch, Milaca, and Mille Lacs.  The meet starts at 4 p.m.

Also Thursday, a showdown in volleyball.  Pine City puts its undefeated record on the line when they take on Rush City at home.  Dragons are coming off a win over Hinckley-Finlayson, Tuesday.   Other games around the area in volleyball include another undefeated, Grantsburg taking on Shell Lake on the road.  A big game in Sandstone as 2-0 East Central hosts Braham.
