The high school football season kicked off in Minnesota Thursday and in Wisconsin a week ago, and the exciting action on the gridiron continued Friday.

In a game heard on Classic Hits 105.7 WXCX, Frederic clobbers Siren 75-15.  The Vikings led 75-0 in the third quarter, before a pair of late scored by Siren.  Vikings running back Ian Anderson ran for four touchdowns and 146 yards.  He also returned a fumble for a 20 yard score.  Quarterback Benjamin Ackerley was 2-2 for 41 yards and two touchdown.  He then returned a punt for an 85 yard score in the second quarter, the first of back-to-back punt return td’s for Frederic.  Tony Peterson returned one for 70 yards.

Frederic improves to 1-1.  Siren falls to 0-2.
