The section finals are the next stop for the Mora Mustangs baseball team.  Mora hangs on to beat Cloquet 6-5 on a game heard on 1350-WCMP-AM.  Senior Pitch Logan Orazem picks up the complete game win.

However, this is not the last the mustangs will see of the Lumberjacks.  Cloquet beats Esko 2-1 in the Tuesday night game, and move to the double elimination section final.  It will again be the Mustangs and Lumberjacks. Thursday, in Hermantown.  First pitch is at 5 p.m. on WCMP.

Wednesday, on Classic Hits 105.7 WXCX, the Grantsburg Pirates take on the two seed Clayton/Turtle Lake.  The Pirates are coming off a tight 4-3 win over Unity, Tuesday.  Their third round match-up is in Grantsburg.  The winner moves on to play next Tuesday at Osseo-Fairchild.

Cambridge-Isanti’s baseball season comes to an end.  They fall 6-2 to Anoka.
