The Pine City Dragons will try to bounce back from just their fourth loss on the year (14-7 loss to Grantsburg) Wednesday in a Great River Conference showdown against Rush City. The Tigers are currently a game ahead of the Dragons in the conference standings, and took the first meeting between the two teams in an 8-6 win on May 1st. The Grantsburg Pirates baseball team may want to consider playing teams from Minnesota more often. For the second time this season the northwest Wisconsin club gets a big win against a team from the land of 10,000 lakes. The Pirates beat Pine City 14-7, their third straight win overall. Earlier this season Grantsburg downed Braham 10-1. Pirates back home tomorrow against Frederic.
