WI Playoff Hoops Results, MN State Championship Wrestling Preview

Wisconsin’s boys high school basketball playoff season kicked off, Tuesday. In a game heard on Classic Hits 105.7 WXCX, the fourth seed Siren Dragons beat fifth seed Shell Lake 62-47.  The Dragons move on to play the number one seed in Division Four Drummond who beat Lac Courte Oreilles, Tuesday, 81-9.  The two teams go head to head Thursday at Drummond at 7.

Frederic loses to three seed Turtle Lake 37-33.

Grantsburg,the top seed in Division Three Section Three, handles Clear Lake with ease 74-40.  Webster falls to St. Croix Central 51-32, meaning Grantsburg and St. Croix Central will square off, Thursday, in Grantsburg.  Hear that game on classic hits 105.7 WXCX.  Tip off is at 7 p.m.

Tonight, girl’s high school basketball playoffs get underway in Minnesota.  Hear North Branch take on Chisago lakes Area in North Branch on Cool Country 100.9 WCMP-FM.  The Vikings are the two seed in Section 3 AAA.  Tip off is at 7:00 p.m.

High School Wrestling State championships begin, Wednesday, at the Xcel Energy Center. Mora and Cambridge-Isanti are both in action.
