Pine City’s Boys basketball team was out for revenge Tuesday against Hinckley-Finlayson. The Jaguars beat the Dragons in a stunning come back win on December 30th, but Tuesday night it was all Pine City. The Dragons get the 69-56 win at home, led by 19 points from Wes Fischer, and 14 a piece from Derek Lutz and Mike Schmidt. With the win the Dragons improve to 4-3 in the conference, the Jaguars fall to 3-4. Up next for Pine City is East Central on Thursday. Hinckley-Finlayson takes on Rush City Tuesday.
Rush City stays perfect in Great River Conference play beating East Central 44-37. Rush City goes to Braham Thursday in a showdown of two unbeatens in league play. Hear the game on cool country 100.9 WCMP-FM. North Branch picks up the 71-68 win over Irondale and Cambridge-Isanti falls 65-47 to Buffalo.

Pine City topples Grantsburg 65-51 in a cross-state showdown. Aitkin gets the best of East Central, 70-54. Braham crushes Isle 90-24. Cambridge-Isanti clips Buffalo, 52-42. Hinckley-Finlayson beats Rush City 60-38. Irondale beats North Branch, 54-39. Ogilivie falls to Onamia, 49-31.
On the Ice, Pine City-Rush City skates to a 1-1 tie against Princeton at the Pine City Civic Center.
