The Minnesota Vikings are a top the division and above .500 after their 28-27 win over the Packers on Sunday. Now their attention shifts from Cheeseheads to Pirates as they prepare for Tampa Bay on Sunday. The Vikings are going to have to reverse a trend that has plagued them all season long, poor play on the road. The Purple are just 1-3 away from the Metrodome and the Bucs are a perfect 4-0 at Raymond James Stadium. Be sure to catch Sunday’s game on Cool Country 100.9 WCMP-FM starting at 11 a.m.

The Packers are now on the outside looking in on the division lead, but can make a big stride with a win over the Bears Sunday. Chicago is coming off a loss to the undefeated Titans, but did so without starting quarterback Kyle Orton. Orton says he expects to play this week at Lambeau. The Pack may be without starting linebacker Nick Barnett who banged up his knee in the loss to the Vikings. The injury is being called a knee bruise. The Minnesota Timberwolves back on the hardwood tonight. They head to Oakland to take on the Golden State Warriors. The T-wolves have lost five straight since their opening night win. They are going to have to improve on a defense giving up over 104 points a game. The Warriors are still one of the top scoring teams in the league despite losing Baron Davis in the off-season and playing without suspended guard Monte Ellis. Tip-off is set for 9:30 p.m.
