New Homecoming Celebration Planned in Pine City

Monday, September 15th, 2008 at 6:40 am

A new Pine City Homecoming Tradition has been born this year, the first annual “Homecoming BBQ Kickoff,” sponsored by the Pine City Music Boosters. The group will be hosting an outdoor barbeque on the lawn of Pine City High School in the hours leading up to the homecoming football game.

In addition to serving up a meal featuring barbeque pork sandwiches, potato salad, brownies, and beverage for only $5 per person, the special tailgate party will also feature games, door prizes, and music. The event starts at 5pm on Friday, October 3 and promises to put everyone in the homecoming spirit. Carryout meals will also be available.

The BBQ will be a great opportunity for all Dragon fans to come together and socialize with their family, friends, and neighbors before the game, and the Boosters invite everyone to come out to support both student musicians and student athletes on one special night!
