Twins Attendance Tops 2 Million

MINNEAPOLIS – ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that the team has achieved paid attendance of more than two million people for the 2008 regular season. With today’s attendance of 31,236, the Twins have seen 2,012,217 fans through the Metrodome turnstiles in 2008.

This marks the club’s fourth straight year drawing more than two million fans and the Twins tenth season drawing two million plus fans. The Twins are on pace for 2,259,981 fans in 2008, which would be the third straight year drawing over 2.2 million. The Twins have seen an average attendance of 27,946 through 72 home dates this season.
