Packers and Vikings Tonight on Red Rock Radio

Lambeau Field takes the spot light on Red Rock Radio tonight. The legendary stadium plays hosts to a legendary rivalry, which picked up extra fire this past year with the controversy swirling around Brett Favre. Favre won’t be on the field tonight for either the Packers or the Vikings. It’ll be a much anticipated regular season debut for Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodger and a measuring stick game for Vikings signal caller Tavaris Jackson. Hear tonights game on either Cool Country 100.9 WCMP-FM or Classic Hits 105.7 WXCX. Kickoff is at 6:00 p.m.

Brett Favre threw two touchdowns in the Jets win over the Dolphins

The Twins have lost five out of their last six, and are starting to lose ground in the division and the Wild Card. Minnesota falls to Detroit 7-5 on Sunday, and lose the weekend series two games to one. The Tigers blasted three homers in yesterdays win. Minnesota is now 2.5 back of the White Sox in the Divison and 6.5 Back of the Red Sox in the Wild Card. They get the day off today before a three game series starts with the Royals on Tuesday

The Brewers almost fall victim to a perfect game. Padres pitchers Chris Young came within four outs of perfection until gabe Kapler homered in the 8th. Milwaukee still loses 10-1, and split the four game series with San Diego.
America holds serve at the U-S Open. Serena Williams defeats Jelena Jankovic.

Legendary basketball coach Don Haskins,78, passed away Sunday. Haskins started five black players to beat Kentucky in the 1966 national championship game, the first time this had ever been done.
