On Sunday, the Minnesota Twins had an excellent outing besting the Seattle Mariners 10-0 to win the three-game weekend series at Target Field. Minnesota got an early lead in the second inning on a homer off the bat of Ryan Doumit. Minnesota would add two more runs in the inning to take a 3-0 lead.

Two innings Later, Chris Herrmann would get into the act, adding to the Twins lead on his first major league homer; a blast that made it 4-0.

Then, with the Twins up 5-0, the homer fest continued when Josh Willingham hit a two-run bomb in the fifth to make it 7-0. Minnesota still wasn’t done; they had another homer in the seventh from Brian Dozier and went on to win by a whopping 10 runs.

Its not very often we get to watch the Twins hit four homers in a game, but that was the case on Sunday. Minnesota took two out of three games from Seattle and is now 25-29 on the Season. Minnesota is off today, but will face the Royals on Tuesday night.
