When the Vikings traded for Dolphins WR Greg Camarillo, they were addressing a need at the position. Recent news about Sidney Rice’s hip surgery had depleted depth at the position, and Camarillo was brought in to add an extra, sure-handed target for Brett Favre to throw to. Camarillo spoke with us after his first practice and talked about how excited he is to work with #4 and how surprised he was at the recent development.

Camarillo had 4 catches for 47 yards in his first game as a member of the Vikings, in a 24-13 win. Camarillo led the club in receptions and receiving yardage.
