Harvin Returns to Vikings, Favre to Start Sunday Night

Saturday, August 21st, 2010 at 1:07 pm

It’s been a wild week for Vikings fans.

As we stand now, Percy Harvin has returned to the club after a night in the hospital earlier in the week. Harvin reportedly passed out at practice due to a migraine headache, but the website ProFootballTalk.com has reported that Harvin has been seen again at practices in street clothes. No word has been given on a timetable to his return to the field, but Harvin reportedly was in good spirits on Friday.

The same website has reported that Brett Favre will start on Sunday Night Football when the Vikings travel to San Francisco to face the 49ers. Harvin didn’t make the trip.

Favre returned to the club earlier in the week after three of his teammates traveled to his home in Mississippi to implore him to return for a 20th season.

You can catch all of the preseason action on WCMP FM, Cool Country 100.9 beginning Sunday night at 7 p.m. CST.
