Brett Favre Set To Retire For A Third Time

Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010 at 11:20 am

MN quarterback Brett Favre informed Vikings personnel late Monday night that he is retiring for a third time. At this point, it’s hard to call anything official due to the stunt Favre pulled last year before training camp in which he ended up siging a two-year contract with the team. Favre is due $13 million on what would be his second year with the MN Vikings.  Favre is unwilling to commit to playing his second year with the Vikings due to the problems he’s having with his left ankle. Favre had hoped the ankle would have responded better after his May surgery. However, it seems like deja vu for Vikings fans who say Favre may just simply be buying time as he did in 2009.
