This afternoon at 5pm on SAM 105.7FM we have a high school baseball game between Grantsburg and Siren/Webster.
The Granstburg Pirates are red hot this season with a 10-1 record. Currently they are on a five game winning streak. Last season in two games the Pirates defeated Siren/Webster by a combined score of 26-2. These same two teams will meet again on Monday.
Siren/Webster has had a tough season so far. They are 2-8 and have lost their last eight games.

This afternoon we’ve got a Cambridge-Isanti baseball game on tap for our listeners that is set to begin at 4:30 on 1350 AM WCMP. The Bluejackets are set to go against the Buffalo Bison in a Mississippi 8 conference battle as Jesse Logan and Nick Sontag will be on hand for the call.
Cambridge-Isanti has an impressive 5-2 record overall and they need a win in conference to stay within a game of conference leaders St. Michael-Albertville and Monticello. Buffalo won’t go quietly though, as they are just a half game behind the Bluejackets in the conference race, so the matchup promises to be a battle.
On Tuesday night, the Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars softball team improved to 9-3 on the season with an 8-2 victory over the Pine City Dragons in Hinckley. Our Nick Sontag visited with winning pitcher senior Shay Bengtson on the game and her future plans to play in college.
On Tuesday night, we’ve got another high school broadcast for you if the weather holds up. It’s a girls softball game between the Pine City Dragons and the Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars.
These two teams both hail from the Great River Conference and today’s matchup will be the second meeting of the year. The Jags stomped Pine City 12-5 back an April 12th, so the Dragons will have their work cut out for them this afternoon.

This afternoon we have a great softball game on our airwaves!The Cambridge/Isanti Bluejackets will take on the Mora Mustangs in Mora.
After starting the season with two wins, the Bluejackets have been struggling of late. They have only one win in their last seven games. They are currently on a two game losing streak. The Bluejackets have a 3-6 record on the season.
The Mora Mustangs got off to a fast start this season, winning their first eight games in a row. That winning streak was snapped yesterday when Little Falls defeated the Mustangs 10-8. This season Mora is 8-1.
