Minnesota Named Second Most Bike-Friendly State

The League of American Bicyclists today announced that Minnesota ranks as the second most bicycle-friendly state in the nation. This is a jump from the number four slot achieved in 2010 and 2011. Trego Gas Station Burns To The Ground

A gas station in the listening area burned to the ground Monday night. According to the Spooner Fire department it happened just after 11 p.m. at the ICO gas station in Trego. A Washburn County Sheriff’s Deputy spotted the fire while patrolling. Officials believe the blaze started in the attic or ceiling.

Second Duluth Murder Suspect Due In Court

Franken Introduces Legislation To Allow Americans To Buy Meds From Canada

On Tuesday, U.S. Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) introduced legislation that would help get cheaper prescription drugs for seniors by allowing them to purchase their medications from certified Canadian pharmacies. Franking stated that the amendment would allow people to safely get the exact same prescription drugs from Canada at a much cheaper price and called the move "commonsense legislation."
