Anglers were out in full force on Saturday at Big Wood Lake in Grantsburg for the American Legion Ice Fishing Contest.

Snow started to fall Tuesday in East Central Minnesota and Northwest Wisconsin. Some areas were hit by as many as five inches of snow.
