All candidates have done well keeping it clean and not letting the cat out of the bag, truth be told ALL voters need to be educated on the fact that out of the 4 candidates only 1 has been fired (from Pine County) and they should really ask specifics about this situation before voting. I think this would make most if not all voters with any moral standards pick the correct candidate. Do this county a favor on Tuesday…vote Westbrook or Nelson. This county is depending on you to make a educated decision and one that you will be proud of in years to come, not one that you as a text paying citizen will regret. I know when I vote it will be for the candidate that is honest, hard working and with no moral/character issues in his closet. I trust you will do the same.

Re:Westbrook’s Training: Let get this clear, He pulled over a speeder and found that the driver was on PAROLE for attempted MURDER, Westbrook sees the passenger acting suspicious.. the passenger ask to use the restroom, and Westbrook sends him in to an always crowded Heidelbergers ALONE.. Then Westbrook finds a Gun under That passengers seat (OMG) then he just arrested them end of story? Did anyone think that maybe the Passenger stashed Drugs or Guns in or on his way to Heidelbergers? I am a Construction worker, and my Common Sense would have told me too Not let that Passenger leave that car before investigating what these two had been up to PERIOD! Good thing school will be starting soon…… Hint,Hint

Nathan….YOU are exactly right. Westbrook or Nelson on August 12th are both good choices for our next Sheriff!

James, if you understood the laws of search and detain you would have done the same unless you like getting sued….and another thing construction worker James, it is hard to make judgment on a officers specific situation(s) when you are not one yourself. Westbrook has led the the STATE in felony arrests and we are lucky to have him in Pine County. His drive goes unmatched by ANY officer in this area…..PERIOD. If you want to elect a lying dishonest officer as your sheriff then its you that needs the education. Westbrook all the way!!!!!!!

O-Please Nathan, Lets not Pretend to be The Blessed Mother Teresa on here. The fact is, Getting Fired is part of Life and should not be a Death Sentence but a learning experience! Great things come from FAILURE and American History is full of examples of this FACT.

I have a feeling that You have never Failed in life, You are the Best of the Best, Never struck out in Baseball, Never needed training wheels on your bike as a kid, and were always the top Employee where ever you worked!

Lets not forget that our sitting Pine County Sheriff Cole was also Fired & also lets not forget that Sheriff Mansavage was also Fired by the Voters!

These two will always have my Respect, and I would never start descending into childish judgement on them for that.

Best of luck to You and Mr Westbrook!

    Mark
Sorry, but we are Voting for the Local team: Rosati /Meier!
It also looks like We will have a lot of company.

To smear Police Chief Rosati’s name with Lies, shows Desperation!
Does Mr Westbrook endorse this kind of tactic? I am sure he has more class then that. Grow Up!

James; it seems like you have a hard time letting go with things. Must be that well educated mind of yours. And by the way cole has ruined YOUR sheriffs office and soon YOU will be paying another lawsuit because of it but go ahead and elect another cole to office

  8. James Kline 08/17/14 at 7:56pm

Sorry Nat, I did not vote for Cole, but I am Man enough to admit that Sheriff Cole turned out to be one hell of a Sheriff for Pine County and for all the people in America that still believe in the 2nd Amendment!

Its was refreshing to see an Elected Official stick his neck out against the the Anti-Gun POTUS and the Dinosaur Media Programming of the Sheepeople!
