Burnett Co. Searches For Siren Armed Robbery Suspect
The Burnett County Sheriff’s Office has released information pertaining to an armed robbery that happened last Friday at a gas station in Siren.
On Friday, June 27 at approximately 01:15 a.m., Burnett County deputies responded to the report of an armed robbery that occurred at a Holiday Stationstore on State Highway 35/70 in the Village of Siren.
Store employees reported that a lone male suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money; the suspect then fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
A search of the area by deputies, including a K9 unit from the Polk County Sheriff’s office, did not locate the suspect. No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect is described as a white male, 30-35 years old, about 5’09-6’00”/ 200 pounds, dark brown eyes, and a light brown goatee.
