The Minnesota Wild take on the Colorado Avalanche tonight at Pepsi Center in Denver after tying the series (2-2) on Thursday with a narrow 2-1 home victory.

Thursday’s home fixture saw the Wild dominate defensively despite the close score, giving up a franchise record low of 12 shot on goal. Jared Spurgeon and Charlie Coyle each scored goals for the Wild.

Thursday’s win guarantees that there will be a game 6 on Monday night at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.

Tonight’s game against the Avalanche is set to begin at 8:30pm in Denver, and will be televised nationally on NBC Sports.
