Ailing Timberwolves Lineup Ousted By Magic 100-92

The Wolves were missing three of their regular starters to begin the game; Kevin Love (back spasms), Nikola Pekovic (ankle) and Kevin Mart (foot). To make matters worse, forward Chase Budinger (starting in place of Martin) left the game in the first minute with an ankle inury and failed to return.
According to the AP, Orlando played magnificent team basketball. Arron Afflalo scored 18 points, Maurice Harkless scored 17 and rookie Victor Oladipo added 16 for the Magic win.
Leading the scoring for the Wolves was Ricky Rubio with 18 points followed by Corey Brewer’s 15. Rookie Gorgui Dieng continues to impress, adding 12 of his own.
Also out of Saturday’s game was back-up forward Shabazz Muhammad. Minnesota (38-38) now heads to San Antonio on Tuesday.
