MNSure CEO Leitz To Testify In Congressional Hearing
The interim CEO of the MNSure health insurance marketplace will stand before congress in a Thursday hearing geared at examining Obamacare exchanges throughout the nation.
According to the AP, the hearing, which is entitled “Examining ObamaCare’s Problem-Filled State Exchanges” seeks internal documents and communications between state employees, contractors and Obama Administration officials.
CEO Scott Leitz was asked by the House Oversight Committee to testify at the Thursday hearing. Leitz says “he’s happy to comply.”
A letter from California Rep. Darell Issa was originally sent to 10 different governors, including Mark Dayton.
Minnesota currently has one of the lowest insurance premiums in the county and has enrolled more than 150,000 people thus far. The registration deadline is March 31.
