Forest Lake Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the suspect in an attempted sexual assault.

The incident happened Monday evening in the Washington County Library’s parking lot when a woman was approached by a man in a vehicle.

He offered her $20 for sexual favors, but when she denied him, he got out of his car and grabbed her arm and breast.

The woman used a self-defense spray on him, and he fled.

The suspect is described as man in his 60s or 70s with gray, balding hair. He wears glasses, has brown eyes and is described as heavy set with a pot belly. He wore a gray and blue flannel shirt during the time of the attempted assault.

He was driving a vehicle described as possibly a 90s-era Buick with black pinstripes which run the length of the car. The stripes either fade or come off of the driver’s side door.

Call the Forest Lake Police tipline at 651-209-9911 if you have any information.
