3-5 Inches Of Snow Expected During Monday Morning Commute

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for north central and east central Minnesota through late Sunday night into Monday morning.

Weather forecasts are predicting 3-5 inches of snow may already be on the ground by early Monday morning. An additional inch of snow may fall during the afternoon.

The heavy snowfall is expected to begin between the hours of 2am and 6am, leaving plow trucks with less time to remove possible build-up.

Saturday afternoon’s lighter snowfall still contributed to problems on the roadways; a crash involving nearly 12 cars was reported along I-35 in Lakeville on Saturday.
