Frederic Woman Charged In Death Of Milltown Man
In Wisconsin news, a woman has been arrested in a vehicle/pedestrian accident that killed a man near luck. Investigators tell WEAU that a Frederic woman was drunk when she hit and killed a man as he walked on a highway over the weekend.
WEAU reports that the Polk county Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year old Jeanne Fisher of Frederic for Homicide by Intoxicated Driver and Causing Injury by Intoxicated Operation of a Motor Vehicle. The crash happened around 2:10 a.m. Sunday on State Highway 35 near Luck. The online report states that 34-year old Chad Hansen of Milltown was walking in the southbound lane of highway 35. That’s when deputies say a car that Fisher was driving south on highway 35 hit Hansen. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Criminal charges were filed on Monday.
