Packers Get Miracle Finish, Dome Now Finished

On Sunday the Vikings won their final game ever at the Metrodome. The Packers won their final regular season game and have made the playoffs as an improbable NFC North Champion at 8-7-1.

For the Vikes, it was a 14-13 win over the Lions in a meaningless game that wasn’t actually meaningless at all. The team appears to be headed for some major changes, and the current status of head coach Leslie Frazier and several core players is up in the air. Media reports surfaced Sunday that Frazier will be fired today, but ownership wouldn’t confirm or deny those reports. The Vikings are clearing out their lockers today.

Meanwhile, the Green Bay Packers season continues to feel like the plot line of a movie. The packers came from behind to beat the Sears on a touchdown pass by Aaron Rodgers with less than a minute to play. Rodgers returned from a two month absence to lift the Pack to an NFC North Championship. Green Bay will play San Francisco on Sunday afternoon in a game that will be aired on SAM1057.
