Gophers Have Two Defenders Named To All-Big Ten Team

Tuesday, December 3rd, 2013 at 8:19 am

After its most successful regular season in a decade, the Minnesota Golden Gophers football team garnered even more conference-wide recognition on Monday. DT Ra’Shede Hageman and CB Brock Vereen were both unveiled as All-Big Ten first team selections.

Hageman has been viewed by many possibly the best defensive player in the Big Ten and could possibly be a first round pick in April’s NFL Draft.

The Gophers finished out their season losing their last two games though, as they fell this past weekend to Michigan State after losing to the Badgers the week before.
