Wolves Win Big 100-81 Over Oklahoma City
The 2-0 Minnesota Timberwolves are looking confident after winning their first two regular season matchups, one of which came last night against the Oklahoma City Thunder at Target Center.
Wolves Forward Kevin Love would return from Wednesday night’s OT nail-biter with similar intensity, scoring 24 points while grabbing 13 boards against a lengthy OKC team. Wolves rookies Shabazz Muhammad and Gorgui Dieng made their first appearances as NBA professionals during the game.
Thunder all-star Kevin Durant was heavily limited from the field, shooting only 4-of-11 and scoring 13 points. Durant had scored 42 points in his previous game against the Utah Jazz.
To make matters worse for Oklahoma City, point-guard Russell Westbrook was inactive as he continues to recover from torn-laternal knee surgery.
Minnesota now heads to the big apple as they face the New York Knicks on Sunday at 6:30pm.
