Nolan Speaks Out On Healthcare.gov Problems
Democratic congressman Rick Nolan has called for the termination of members of President Obama’s administration over the rocky rollout of the new health care law.
Rep. Nolan told reporters Wednesday that the health law’s brand has been damaged. He urged the president to “man up, find out who was responsible, and fire them.” He didn’t name who should go.
Top Obama administration officials, particularly Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, are under fire for technology woes plaguing the law’s centerpiece Web site. It is the backbone of the health insurance signup process and has proven unreliable.
Many people have also seen healthcare premium costs rising and some have also seen higher deductables, although Nolan kept his remarks focused on the problems plaguing healthcare.gov
Nolan defeated Chip Cravaack in the 2012 election. We will also be interviewing the congressmen at some point in the near future, so watch for that.
