Commissioner Ludwig Sworn In As Commissioner In Pine County Dist. 5

On September 24, Matt Ludwig, Commissioner-elect for District 5 was sworn in by the Pine County Auditor. The District 5 vacancy is now filled. Commissioner Ludwig will attend his first board meeting on October 1. Ludwig won the special election last Tuesday, Sept. 17 with 67 percent of the vote, defeating Randy Christensen, who garnered 32 percent of the vote. A total of 635 votes were cast in the race, which was for the seat vacated by the passing of Commissioner Doug Carlson from earlier in the year.

Ludwig joines Commissioners Mitch Pangerl, Steve Hallan, Steve Chafee and Curt Rossow on the Pine County Board.
