Wisconsin’s Fall Legislative Session Approaching, Slow Start Expected

Monday, September 9th, 2013 at 4:58 am

It appears that Wisconsin’s fall legislative session will be getting off to a slow start.

The Assembly canceled its meeting days in September and the Senate plans to be in session only on Sept. 17, when the Associated Press reports it could act to restrict public access to the proposed iron ore mine site in northern Wisconsin and create a new crossbow hunting season.

Other major issues will have to wait until later in the fall.
