Seattle Loses Harvin For 3-4 Months
In NFL news, a development that likely makes Vikings fans feel some small measure of joy.
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin announced via Twitter on Tuesday night that he will undergo hip surgery and miss a significan portion of the season. Although it’s uncertain how long Harvin will be sidelined, NFL Network reported early estimations are that Harvin will be out three to four months and could return in November or December.
Harvin was in New York on Tuesday to receive a second opinion on his injured hip from Dr. Bryan Kelly.
The Vikings traded the injury plagued Harvin to Seattle for three draft picks, including a first rounder, this offseason.
