The whereabouts of a 2-year-old Wisconsin boy are still unknown after the toddler suddenly went missing from his Polk County home on Tuesday evening.

On Tuesday at approximately 8:49pm, the Polk County Dispatch Center received a call from the 1500 block near the town of Centuria, stating that 2-year-old Isaiah Theis had become missing. The mother of Isaiah says her son was last seen in the house playing with his brother at approximately 7:30pm. After realizing Isaiah had left, family, friends and neighbors began searching the immediate area before calling law enforcement.

After the missing boy’s story made it’s way to social media, over 150 volunteers from the area arrived to assist in the search. Both the Balsam Lake and Centuria fire departments were on-hand to assist. A Minnesota State Patrol helicopter had also apparently surveyed above-land; unfortunately so far no areas of interest have been identified.

The search was suspended at 1am and resumed at 6am Wednesday. Volunteers continue to arrive and are asked to report to the Polk-Burnett complex in Centuria.

Isaiah was last seen wearing a green shirt with blue jeans, white socks
