Wolves Making Moves
After leaving town for two years, Corey Brewer is heading back to the Minnesota Timberwolves. On Wednesday, Brewer agreed to a three-year, $15 million deal to return to the team that drafted him.
Brewer, who Minnesota originally took seventh overall in 2007, averaged 12.1 points and 2.9 rebounds with the Denver Nuggets last season.
In an effort to clear much-needed cap space, the Star Tribune reported that the Wolves are set to trade guard Luke Ridnour to the Milwaukee Bucks and pull a sign-and-trade with Oklahoma City to bring in Kevin Martin as previously reported.
The team may also be nearing a deal with Nikola Pekovic that could be worth around $50 million over four years.
