Two men wearing reflective utility vests reportedly invaded a home in West Lakeland Township – a community near the St. Croix River in Washington county.

KSTP reports that authorities responded to the invasion robbery shortly before 8 p.m. Monday, July 8, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

The men knocked on the door wearing utility vests, authorities reported. A woman opened the door and was rushed by the men, who bound her hands and feet with zip ties.

Two additional men were in the group, the woman told authorities. At least two suspects wore bandanas over their face. At least one suspect wore gloves. Another brandished a black handgun.

The woman was carried or thrown from room-to-room, the sheriff’s office reported. The robbers took a safe, jewelry and coins. It appears that the suspects pulled their vehicle into the victim’s garage during the robbery.
