Officials On The Lookout For Fleeing Driver

WDIO is reporting that the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the driver in a one-vehicle crash that injured a passenger and killed a dog.

The crash happened around 5 a.m. Saturday fifteen miles north of Virginia.

Twenty-eight year old Ross Anderson of Virginia is hospitalized in Virginia, and the sheriff’s office believes he was the passenger. His condition is not known. Anderson’s dog died in the crash.

The sheriff’s office says the person believed to have been driving the vehicle has not been located despite repeated contacts with his family by officers. The man’s name was not released.
