Boy Saved From Van In River Now Out Of Coma
Some good news now on the little boy who was rescued from a van that had turned over in the Chippewa River.
The family of 3-year-old Logan Buchli told WEAU that he was taken out of sedation Tuesday afternoon and his breathing tubes were removed. His family says Logan is doing well and keeps asking to go home although they aren’t sure when exactly he will be able to leave the hospital.
As we reported before, the Buchli family was loading up their boat onto a trailer at the Lake Hallie boat landing Saturday when their van, which was in park and not running, started to slide into the water due to the strong current.
Logan was in the van and was rescued by people nearby. Another little girl trapped in the van was also rescued.
